# History

  
The **Estoril Vintage Hotel**, previously described as the home of S. Cristóvão, located on Avenida da Marginal, was built by the great entrepreneur Alfredo da Silva in 1917.

Its Baroque style has features of classical and erudite architecture, with details in the D. João V style, designed by the renowned architect and painter Tertuliano Marques, author of magnificent Portuguese buildings and winner of a Valmor prize in 1921.
